I rceived a letter this morning, which at first glance made me think I had won 500,000,01.   It stated it was not a lottery and that they guaranteed I was the sole recipient of a prize account no.  Some pearl earings were alo includedas  bonus.

I realised later on that in fact the form I was suposed to fill in wa an entry form to a prize sweepstake.  I was asked to send back the entry form togethe with 14 within seven days. The date on the letter was 24th August today is 4th Sept.

This is a mileading scam and could affect anyone vunerable, who does not read the letter more closely.

They should be stopped from sending out misleading information.  I would also lie to find out if there is really a legal sweepstake they are operating.

It was significant that on te leter and form there was no telephone number or email to contac them
