Bought a car from them a week ago.  The saleman was nice and sincere.  I wasn't able to talk the price down since "they were already losing $100".  I agreed to the price from NADA and thought the car has a 110 point inspection, nothing could be wrong.  The car is super clean.  It also a company vehicle where they take care of the cars when they need to be serviced, awesome.  Four days into owning it, my tire blew on the highway. I had three people tell me the same thing after this happened, "If you got this from a dealership, they should pay for the repairs. It is only fair."

I brought into Discount tire and they informed me "We cannot Legally patch this tire nor are the other tires on this car safe. You have an All Wheel Drive vehicle, if we only give you one tire, it will potentially ruin the 4x4." Thinking on my feet I bought all four tires.  The car had to make a 200  mile trip the next day.  I asked HZ to compensate the issue.  The saleman said, "We buy our tires at cost." I thought not something I would think of when my life was flashing before my eyes.  And that's a completely irrelavent.

Instead of doing the right thing after explaining what happened; the manager decided to only pay for $150. That's one tire. The saleman then explains the same thing Discount Tire explained to me about 4x4.  The salesman said this, "We are already losing on the vehicle." Okay wait, you agree that all the tires would have to be replaced but your manager won't pay for them? They were passed the threshhold of keeping.  I highly doubt Discount Tire was looking for conning me into buying all tires when I specifically asked for a patch.  Instead he told me they have a check ready for me for this amount.  Wait no debate? Seriously? I don't have time for this!

I ask after almost losing my life on the road the other day, "That it!?" They are more worried about the bottom dollar than my life on the road or safety.  If it goes through a 110 point inspection, I expect the Dealership to back the customer fully not back peddle and say well here's only the cost of one tire.  I trusted them fully when buying the car, they should trust me one in the same.  I would not give them business from my friends or family because of that lame excuse.  If you don't back your cars or check them like 110 point inspection is intended for, why would I back you ever again?

I shouldn't even have to argue to make point of getting the rest of the money out of them instead they just get an F for Failing miserably at Safety.
