Harrison Truck center Wismen Frieghtliner of Mankato Mn recently acquired by Harrison Lied about the condition of the truck! Mankato Mn

Jan. 2017 I bought a used 2009 Peterbilt truck from one of Harrison Truck center loactions in Mankato Mn. I had it brought down to the Des Moines Iowa location so I could look it over, which I did and seen no major visable problems with it. they give me a list of repairs they had done to the truck while they had it, about a year, before i bought it.

among repairs they list a DOT inspection, I also asked for a updated inpection before I took the truck. Two DOT inspection had been done before I left Harrison's Des Moines lot. I had a DOT inspection done at another shop and this is what was found that eluded Harrison's shop twice! Apu (was Junk), Jake brake did not work, jack brake switch was broke, cruise control did not work, EGR coller had a exhaust leak, water line on turbo was leaking coolant, and clearance light would shut off unexpectily for no reason.

since I have been running the truck I have found or fixed, APU taken off and junked $1100, the jake break box and the clearance lights for a total of $1300 and being told by Peterbilt of Des Moines I needed a EGR coooler approximately $2000 plus labor. I've continued to loss coolent, and Cummins of Des Moines confirmed I need a EGR cooler! Currently 3/17/2017 the truck is in the shop being worked on, the work estimate was $6800 until I was told that the Turbo will need replaced soon as well! cost estimate $4000 plus labor!

These problems were not visable by a walk around and did not happen since January. This is the kind of under handed high pressure sales that cost a small business it livily hood! Now I'm a grown man and have excepted that my trust was misplaced but Harrison has lost a costumer for life! My hope is that this will save someone else from being decieved by Harrison truck ceter of Mankato Mn.
