HDI The Company Store Discount Shoppers Club, United Marketing Services Ripping you off for $99: still doing it after all these years Internet

Rip-Off Report had examples back to 2007, and they are still doing it. In December, 2010 my wife made a legitimate purchase from The Company Store. A month later an unauthorized charge for $99 appeared on our VISA bill. It said HDI CO STORE BUYERS ED 866-424-7100 NJ. I called that phone number. I was told the $99 was for the Discount Shoppers Club. She said the name of the company was United Marketing Services. When I said we had not subscribed to, and did not want to be in the Discount Shoppers Club, she made no argument. I was given a cancellation confirmation number. Now I will wait a month to see the credit on my VISA.
