Health Medical Networks drafted an electronic check with my bank , claiming I signed up for a trial membership. I never signed up for a trial membership and I never gave them my banking information. I am on a fixed income and this check has left me with no money in my account. I will not receive another check until May 3rd. I called the company and I finally reached a person after numerous attempts as they would not allow you to hold on the line. When I finally reached someone they cancelled my trial membership but informed me that it would take up to five business days to refund my money. When I tried to inquire about how they obtained my banking information and asked to speak to a supervisor they just hung up on me. I called back and spoke to another employee explaining my situation to him and letting him know that it was imperative that I speak to a supervisor regarding the security issues of obtaining my banking information without my permission. I needed to know how they obtained this information and proof of my giving it to them. When I addressed the above issues with the customer service agent he just ignored me and informed me that a refund would be issued in five to ten business days. Now the time has been increased of when I will receive my refund check. When I asked to speak to a supervisor he told me that a supervisor was not available to talk to me until Monday. How convient. Meanwhile I have zero dollars in my account leaving with no money to go anywhere. No money for the doctors. No money to live on. This is horrible. I never authorized this or signed up for a trial membership. I already have health insurance and I never would have signed up for this knowing the limited income I am on. Due to the seriousness of my complaint they should have let me speak to a supervisor right away. This company is horrible and I am so sick of nobody caring about anyone anymore. They should have spoken to me right away, provided proof that I signed up for this trial and made arrangements to have my refund right away so I could survive. I am very distraught over this and I warn everybody about giving out your banking information to anyone online because they give out to other people without your permission. I will never give out my banking information online anymore.
