Ashley Roberts, aka Teddy Bear Cream Golden, also affiliated with Leah & Harold Winkler, are known con artists in the golden retriever world.  They have scammed Hearts of Gold Retrievers with a misrepresented dog that had all false papers.  They sent us false pictures of a Cream (white) and grand papers claiming champion title and all excellant health clearances... all fake.  I was scammed by Teddy Bear Goldens (aka Jenny, Lancing MI, fake name) This is all !00% false.

Story:

My family, along with another local family, are fighting a battle with a breeder that is running an unethical operation. This breeder is overbreeding her females which she fosters out to families that unsuspectingly think they will get a healthy dog in the end.  When in fact, what they will get is an overbred dog that has been injected with pig hormones to help them go into heat more often, these medications can cause aggression in dogs and are very painful.

This breeder has also been breeding dogs with hip dysplasia and we can provide several examples of people that have been put in the horrible position of having to either return their dog which has become part of their family or come up with the $5000 the average surgery is costing these families at the UW Madison Veterinary Hospital. 

In addition, we have an older dog from this same breeder and she kept "forgetting" to send me her registration papers to transfer her to us with the AKC.  This didn't bother me at first, but I have since found out that the breeder has been purchasing puppies born from a backyard breeder for a couple of hundred dollars, bringing them home and then registering them under my dog as the mom (despite the fact that she has been spayed for 9 years) and selling them for $1800-$2000!!

To add even more, she requires a downpayment for her puppies of $300 via paypal and the rest in cash.  This allows her to have claimed only $30,000 on her 2016 tax return, minus all expenses of owning a kennel so they were showing negative earnings each year, despite the fact that we have evidence showing they earned over $160,000 and she managed to buy herself a tummy tuck and a huge camper and pick up truck. 

This woman has made threats against others that have tried to go against her before, she has two violations of restraining orders against her on CCAP. 

We do not want our dog, Penny, to be bred any longer by her.  She has had to have C-sections for the last two litters and has lost puppies in all litters.  She has had 29 puppies already but this breeder wants to keep breeding her until she is 7, another 4 times!!!  Not to mention, we purchased one of her own puppies and he has severe seizures that require daily medications and a special diet

We have retained an attorney and the expenses are getting huge.  I know there are a lot of people that love dogs and can not stand to think of this happening.  This woman is not only preying on those that can not speak for themselves but on families with kids and families that bring these dogs in as part of their family.  She knows no one will fight her.  Well we are trying, but this has become much more expensive and much more time consuming than I ever expected.  The AKC wants money for DNA testing dogs, our attorney of course needs to be paid.  We have spent $7500 of our own money so far for a dog that was supposed to be free and we will keep going if it takes forever.  But if anyone out there is kind enough to help us not only keep our dog, and the other poor female dogs away from this woman, and maybe even get her shut down, please think of donating even a little.  Every dollar helps.

I was scammed by these people too. I am pretty sure that their website is spelled with separate words as in Hearts Of Gold Retrievers.
