Helen Of Trades ripoff! Unauthorized fraudulent charge of $299.00 on my account. Champlain New York

I'm filing my rip-off report on "Helen of Trades", located in Champlain, New York state, because its illegal activities had gone beyond all limits. I presume, its owners make a fortune by charging certain amounts from private citizens' accounts.

I received an unexpected "surprise" - check of "mine" for $299 cashed on January 4, 2005. I found out about that transaction almost 3 weeks later upon receiving my bank statement. I got really mad.. It was Saturday night, and my bank was closed until Monday - I couldn't help thinking about that "Helen" all day next day.

On Monday, my bank was nice enough to credit my account back, and they ended up reopening a new account on my behalf so I could live fraud-free again. As far as I know, they didn't file any reports to any public organizations. I didn't know at the moment, so I didn't ask them to.

When I came home, I went on-line and read so many similar to mine cases that I decided to file a report on my own.
