Helping Hands Of Hope phone harassment, phoney orders, verbal abuse, refused to stop calling me Ripoff Phoenix Arizona

I ordered an American flag from this outfit a couple of years ago. Then I ordered their garbage bags once. I thought I was supporting a charity. The problem started when I declined to order more stuff.

They would call me to "confirm" an order I didn't make, or they would call repeatedly when I wasn't home and my wife would answer. They (it was always the same man) would refuse to speak with my wife.

When she asked them to stop calling during the day (she is a night RN and sleeps during the day) he became verbally abusive to her.

That's when I got super angry and decided to file some complaints. First I call Helping Hands of Hope and told them to stop calling me. Did that twice, both times was told they would take my name off their list.

They still called me, so I filed a complaint with the Washington State Atty General's office.

Then I filed a complaint with the FCC. I am on the National Do Not Call Registry and even though it doesn't apply to charities, they have to stop calling you when you ask.

I still got calls from my "friend". He told me that I needed to honor my order that he had so kindly shipped for me and was very rude when I challenged him. Remember, this was a phoney order that I did not make.

So now I am adding my report to the list here in hopes that it might have some effect.

I really hope that the FCC and WA State Atty General can shut these clowns down. They are liars, and con artists and are nasty and rude to people who stand up to them. They are NOT a charity in any sense of the word.
