This case stems from a purchase we made after visiting H.C.Mercedes Used Vehicles in mid 2015.  I am writing now b/c it behooves me to see this company insert advertising in Boston area showing how many great marques they have, and how they'll give you money back if you don't want the car w.in 5 days.

     The fact they had a used Subaru with less than 40K miles for 10K USD was the only reason we went there.  The dealership repainted sev. rear body parts, and we were nearly locked out of the sale b/c someone came out to see it the same day we got there to put our presched. drive and deposit down.  Our salesman was just looking for the money like a shark.

    We took it to a somewhat reticent or idiotic independent auto appraiser the second day of ownership, and they apparently didn't see obvious pitting holes around the windshield (which I stupidly thought were just road chips.  Soon enough, we noted the intense highway road noise that we didn't get it their tightly corridored street layout at their Boston location.  The hood was also popping up in the wind, and we noticed a smell from the car after rains.

    Yup, another dumb owner gets taken by an opportunistic dealer who lives in a helicoptered castle and has a team of wallet pinchers who should have known better than to sell a car with an obvious defect to any prep team-two body shops told me not to drive the car, as the windhsield under certain circumstance, drift into the driver/front pass. cabin. 

    WHen I complained to the sales manager, he told me "every used car should have some reconditioning costs" (yeah, it cost us $1700 to remove, "repair" rust in improperly installed windshield channel areas), and claimed I was slanted against their s****.>

     =and I'm wary for others especially after storms down south could mean we in N.E getting hidden damage vehicles!!
