HerStyler deceitful practices Colorado Mills Mall, Lakewood Colorado

We visited the HerStyle Kiosk at the Colorado Mills Mall and were acosted by a young lady. She showed my wife how the Hersyler ceramic iron works. She used the iron on my wife's hair and it left a gloss to it and it was nice and straight. My wife had straigtened her hair that day, before she had the product tesyed on her. When we purchased the item we bought it home and after my wife washed her hair she attempted to use the iron and it did not straighten her hair. Her hair is wavy after she washes it and it curls up - a lot. The sales girl told us that it would work on on thick, wavy, curly hair. It did not.

Being dissatisfied we attempted to return the product. They informed us that there were no refunds. I looked for the refund policy posted at the kiosk and it was not. We looked at the receipt and noticed that it was stamped on the receipt. I looked at the receipt book - it was the same type that was used to issue our receipt...and there were no stamps on these receipts. I asked the sales girl that performed the demonstration and sold us the product - why she didn't inform us that "no refunds - exchanges only" was their policy. I also asked her why the refund policy wasn't posted as in all of the other stores in the mall. She was with another customer performing the same demonstration and refused to speak with me.

We called the store owner and he told me I could not get my money back. He swore his product was great and accused us of merely changing our minds to get our money back. We found this extremely insulting, and furthermore, we were verbally abused by the manager at the kiosk and he placed his face within 3 inches of mine, and said there was nothing I could do.
