Hestia Home Services knows just how to get you to trust them. Jesse, the owner, is a narcissist through and through. He's an excellent charmer and liar. However, he will be slow to respond when you ask for financial breakdowns and budgets and will say, "don't worry, the insurance company is paying for it." Oh yes, my fellow Houstonians. He preyed on Harvey Victims. We had to contact our insurance agent directly to get the overall quote. He also sends his staff to collect funds that are NOT and were never OWED to him. His scam fooled us for a bit. After some digging, and a little PI work, I discovered that this is Jesse's 3rd company. He leaves each one just after running them into the ground in someone else's name. This new company is a joint venture with his girlfriend. He is most likeky using her as a narcissit does, and I would assume many of the liabilities are in her name. I'm finding many people who have been taken advantage of by him yet no one has connected the dots. Of course he doesn't want to talk to the customers and doesn't want anyone to know he's the owner. He had an excellent, well liked, and trusted project manager for a short spell, but you know how those honest people are, asking too many questions and thwarting scams. So of course they got rid of him with no warning. If you are already in business with Hestia, make sure everything is written and accounted for in the contract. If you haven't already signed a contract, run. Keep your Money. Do not trust this company. Do not trust this man. He is excellent at convincing others that his lies are reality.
