i saw an add in the paper stating a certain remote car starter was on sale for 149.00 installed. i purchased the item on my credit card. when i went to the installation dept.
i was informed that they would not install that item. i had to go back to the salesman and have them credit my account fully. this all happened in a matter of 10 minutes i will never shop in this ripoff place again. how unprofessional can you get!

#1 UPDATE Employee
not a ripp-off

I am an employee, and do not understand how you got ripped off. You purchased an item, it was not installed for whatever reason, but they gave you your money back. That is not a ripp-off.
What they should have done was state WHY they could not install this for you. Some cars require a bypass kit to get around the factory alarm, This usually costs about 50.00.
Some cars cannot use remote starters, like mine, as they do not have an automatic transmission, or some cars are just "weird". Some cars are just so difficult to work on, we will not even attempt it.
It could have been due to your particualar type of car, they were afraid to attempt it as they may have damaged the car for some reason, or maybe they didnt have the extra parts.
No offence though, but by your own admission, you did get your money back, so you did not get ripped off.
