I bought a GE Microwave oven $99. HHGregg sold me an additional 3 year warranty for $20. Oven stopped working after 8 months. Called Hhgregg they asked if counter top or built in. Its a counter top. Advised to call service company. Service man said there is no parts for a counter top MO & should of never been called. He said this a replacement only and take back to store for exchange since it is still covered by the GE 1 year warranty. HHGregg would not take the broken MO back nor would they honor the 3 year replacement warranty. They said I have to wait for them to check with the service repair report. They said this may take up to two weeks even though I had a copy of the service report. They advised me to buy another microwave oven in the meantime and wait for my credit on the old one. It has been three months and nothing. I have two microwave ovens HHGREGG's broken one they sold me and a new one they told me to buy. I called the main office and they told me it is being processed and to wait. Very rude and treated me like I was the enemy. I asked for my 3 year warranty to be refunded and told me I have to write a letter to the outside insurance company. HHGregg are extremely rude treat you like garbage if you have a problem. They are NOT a member nor acredited of the BBB and you can see why. This was my first experience with them and I will do what I must to get the word out that they are a scam and a huge ripoff artist with their lies.

Walmart and now hhgregg could care less if you are having a problem and not satisfied. Because us unsatisfied people are only 1%. The 1 percenters. Why would they care? For every one of us there are 100 people right behind us who are like sheep and will simply put up with their ripoffs. These companys are much too big to have personal customer care. Thank you for agreeing and adding your information.

This is why I don't shop at H H Gregg. They sell mostly overpriced, inferior merchandise, they treat customers like dirt and their so called customer service is non existent. I rank them right up there (down there?) with Walmart.

have you contacted them yet? Sounds like the 3 year warranty isn't good until the mfr's warranty expires,
The info should be in your owners manual.
