Hidemyass hidemyass.com delays to proceed the 30days refund policy London, Internet
On March 13, 2013, being impressed by the mass positive reviews posted here and there on HideMyAss service, I subscribed without hesitation to its one year VPN HMA Pro service for my iPad and iPhone. Unfortunately the service did not work as expected on iDevices. The next day, that is March 14, 2013, I requested a full refund, following the guidelines provided on their website (see https://vpn.hidemyass.com/vpncontrol/refund-cancellation-policy.html). No answer from HideMyAss.com folks. On March 15, 2013, I used their support system to open a ticket (PUB-246-80510) to request refund. The support system automatically replied back with a message stating that "Thank you for contacting HMA. We have received your email and will respond as soon as we are able; we aim to respond to most emails within 1-2 hours but at busy times responses can take up to 12 hours." I said to me this looks good. They will surely reply soon. But never heard from them until today March 19, 2013.
Certainly for HideMyAss folk "12hours" may means months or even years.
