High-Tech Productions Sold Defective CDs, Internet

Bought 100 custom printed CD's through High-Tech Productions.
It took them almost two weeks to deliver, even though they claim fast turn around as stated on their website below: http://www.high-techproductions.com/disk_printing.htm

Directly onto Disc
All Labor &Quality Control
24 Hour Turnaround(on most orders)

The price was $1.05 PLUS $25.00 for using my own artwork (which took them 15 seconds to cut and paste) PLUS $16.50 Shipping and handling via UPS even though US Postal would have been cheaper as I recommended to them.

So now my $105.00 order was $146.50

In either case, I received the CD's about two weeks later
The first CD's did not copy or read well from my home PC, so over a month period of time I used several other CD burning computers from work, none of which recorded very well. 

I finally went to a local company that did professional CD and DVD copying only to find out that the CDs sold to me by High-Tech Productions are some of the lowest grade on the market...so much for high Grade Brand as stated by them above.  I did this knowing sometimes CD burning software and computers can be temper-mental and wanted to make sure it was the discs not the software or computers before I complained.

My mistake (besides ordering from High-Tech Productions was waiting more than thirty days before complaining which I did by email from the same email they responded to me when placing my order HTPVideo1@Aol.com (Funny that a PROFESSIONAL Computer product company that supposedly does thousands of huge companies which it freely violates copyright laws by using their 'trademarked' logos without permission (I checked with several of the companies they had logos of with their legal departments only to learn no formal permission of ANY KIND was given.  (Maybe their next series of problems on the horizon?!)

When I failed to get an email response that stated I would have my credit card company dispute the charge for their defective if not heard from within a week, I filed a dispute.

Within a week I had a call from my bank and they set up a conference call while I remained online.
I then spoke to the owner (yes not as big a company as you might think.  Seems this multi-national company with 100's of Fortune 500 clients runs out of a small house in Boca Raton, FL... Google Map their address: 699 NW 9th Ave, Boca Raton, FL 33486 or go to this Google Map link:

When speaking to the manager he directly spoke of the 30 day guarantee.
When I asked him about the low quality CDs both defective and unrecordable, he referred back to the fact it has been more than 30 days.

Good for him, to hide behind such crap products.  But he missed the value of 'good customer service' and the fact of we all have choices of where to take our business.

He also missed the power of the internet and now I can tell the world of the crap they sell and warn all of the readers of RIPOFFREPORT.com to avoid them and find another place to get custom printed CDs

Maybe together we can put unscrupulous businesses like them out of commission. 

So after losing the $146.50 and paying another $150.00 to get it done right with quality CDs locally without the wait... I learned.
