Highland Lending Services Highland Lending Services in NJ stole our money!!! Jersey City New Jersey

We were contacted by a Chris Davison to inform us that we had been approved for a $7000.00 loan. We only needed to come up with a deposit of $910.64 and the money would be deposited into out account. We made several calls to Chris Davison Seniour Loan Consulantant and he assured us that they were a company that had been in business for 14yrs and this was not a scam. We made the Money Gram payment in person at a Wal-Mart store. We were instructed to do it this way because to do a Money Gram over the phone would take up to 3 days and that could hold up our loan.

When my husband and I made the payment and did not recive any money we again called Chris. He told us that the Loan had been looked over by the lenders insurance company and that they required another payment to secure th loan. Again as fools we made another Money Gram payment to the same location and person. The next day we did not recieve the direct deposit to our account so we contacted Chris who then connected us to the CEO of the company who told us that the lender backed out but he had another lender that has been doing business with Highland lending for 10yrs and has never backed out on a loan, we only needed to come up with another $1980.00 to secure this loan. At this point we were unable to come up with any more money. We barrowed from everybody we knew and were about to be on the street because we were waiting for the "direct deposit". When we told the CEO that never works with new customers and was doing us a favor he got mad at my husband and told him he should get a title loan on our truck and then we could use that money to secure the new loan. We again told him no we could not come up with the money he then told my husband "Well Mr. if you are not willing to help yourself I can't help you"

We asked for a refund and were told it would be deposited to our account today 6-2-08....well its not in our account and we cannot get intouch with the company. We have been calling the phone # for the last week and all we get when we call is simpaly and tauntly
