Hollywood Cast, LLC Did Not Pay Me For Photography I did for them Los Angeles California

I took a photography job from this "company."  Foolish.  I was contacted by an individual calling himself "Elijah" who arranged a face to face meeting with a person calling himself "Charles" and another calling himself "Bertan."  I did the photography as agreed to in a contract that at first required me to pay the company $1000 if I missed the shoot.  I asked them to remove that clause, they did, and so I (foolishly) took the job.  Well, I performed the day's photography and was paid by check.  As soon as I tried depositing it, they put a stop payment on it and it bounced.  This is a minor inconveniece for me becasue all I lost was my time and the day's use of my equipment.  But I really feel bad for the people who apply for their "services" and pay the $300 they ask of each person as a fee.  It's really a shame because I met and photographed nice people that day who really aspire to be actors or models.  Whatever you do, do not give these people a cent of your money or a minute of your time.  Real talent agencies don't operate this way, and I should have paid heed to that as a warning signal.  My mistake.  If you're a person interested in breaking into the entertainment field, avoid Hollywood Cast and any companies like it.  Something really should be done about scammers like this.
