Holsted Jewelers Ripped off my elderly mother by charging her $56.98 47 times in 12 months Joliet Illinois

This company is a real rip-off artist.  They bated my elderly mother buying some cheap jewelry.  Once they had her debit card number, they started charging her $6.99 a couple times a month, sometimes on the same day.  After that worked for them, they raised the amount to $56.98.  After seeing two charges of $56.98 on the same day, I thought something was odd, so I called the 800 number shown on the bank statement.  They told me it was for two pieces of jewelry she had ordered and they just happened to be the same price.  I bought their storey, as I new my mother liked to order inexpensive jewelry by catalogue or telephone, and I had seen her wearing some new pieces.

Now it's 12 months later, and I just ran a report showing all charges to my mother's bank account from Holsted Jewelers.  She had been charged 47 times for $56.98, 16 times for $6.99, and once for $1.99, a total of $2,791.89!  My bad for not realizing this earlier.  I did a quick search on the internet for "holsted jewelers" and found a link to this Ripoff Report.  Of course, there are many such reports accusing Holsted Jewelers of charging unsuspecting folks for $56.98 and never shipping them anything!

I thank God for this website where one can find the names of unreputable companies.  The knowledge I gained from this site has enlightened and encouraged me to take action - put a stop to this rip-off and let others know what happed to my mother.
