Home Advisor , ServiceMagic They can't handle the truth, Internet

Needed to get my refrigerator fixed so I went out to their website and filled in my information.  They provided me with a contact company whom I engaged.  The company that came and did the work tried to sell me on $500+ dollars for work needed on a 2 y/o refrig.   My hubby was not home but when I called him and told him what the quote was he said to ask them to leave.  All of a sudden the price came down to $290 and "we can get this taken care of today".    The job took 15 minutes and the replacement part "retailed" for $25.  Had no choice but to pay the bill.

My husband contacted Home Advisor and even provided them with a review about the company so that others are not taken advantage of. Home Advisor sends an email back saying that they cannot publish the review because it is negative.  All they are doing is protecting their "subscribers" and not allowing the truth to be published.  Now you have a company that is still out there ripping people off on appliance repairs in Orange County, CA!

If you are going to have a site where people can post reviews, let everyone see what is being posted and if there is an issue the company---not Home Advisor---should respond to the review.
