Home Eq is a terrible bank to deal with. We had been under Chapter 13 Bankruptcy for only 1 year. We had make all our regular payments to Home Eq.

During the Bankruptcy they tried to collect from our Bankruptcy Court because they said we were delinquent on a payment. They posted the payment to the wrong account and tried to foreclose. We had to have them research it talk to the Bankruptcy judge.

They caused us lots of problems. Later on they told us we became current. There was no apology for their error. Also after we paid our bankruptcy up they put on an $862.00 charge because they claim that they had to hire attorneys to review our account.

Why? We paid them during our bankruptcy. Our payments were always on time. Also our payments were sent next day. They didn't post them to our account till one week later. We did not even want this bank. We ended up with them when our mortgage was sold. Someone ought to investigate them.
