I was contacted by a person who worked for the company with which carried my home mortagae.  He stated that he was now with Home Guardian Solutions and would like to have my financial information to see if I would qualify for a loan modification.  After sending the information I was informed that I qualified for a loan interest deduction to 3%.  MY fee would be $2995 and they would receive a federal grant of $2500 for their work.  I sent them the fees and received a few e-mails and phone calls pertaining to this modification.  During some of our conversation the subject of a line of credit came up and they said that they could get that interest rate down to 1% for another $2495 fee which I sent to them.  Shortly thereafter, they would not return any phone calls which I made and did not respond to any e-mails I sent.  Then in January 2012 their phone number was disconnected and their "homeguardiansolutions.com" e-mail domain was terminated.  This left me with no contact ability. 

Since they were in California, my home is in Arizona and my other home and bank is in Missouri, it seems that this may fall under Federal Fraud.  Also they withdrew some of the funds from my bank account without my permission. I have the names of all the persons that I had contact with.

I would like to be reimbursed for the funds sent and or at least see all of them prosecuted.
