I too, have a story but I think I have been @ this with 1st Franklin/Homeloan Services since the later part of 2008...so for about 2yrs solid.  The Loan pkg we'd gotten clearly stated that if we ever foresaw a problem with paying the mortgage note, then we are to contact the lender immediatley.  We'll I did that.  So for two years I have been getting the run around...My husband lost his FT job in April 2007...i had a 7yr old and a 6wk newborn @ the time.  Then in May 2009 I lost my Ft job!

   I have put in about 10 applications for "home modification".  They wouldn't call me back...When i called them back, they would tell me my applicatoin was over 30dys old and that i needed to fill out yet another application and send in more paperwrk (that they can never find)...then when they were tired of me complying with their stupidity (in hopes I would give up), they would call me and tell me, we didn't get approved because we made too much money (adding husbands unepmloyment) or we didn't make enough (when unemployment stopped).  I have also heard from them..that i did not quailfy for the "making Home affrodable" program, because i didn't have an FHA loan.  (note: i have found the offical US GOV AGREEMENT that HomeLoan services signed and it clearly states that they agree to modify loans and that GSE, gov backed loans, do not qualify!)

I have been assigned to two negotiators..Greg Gonabe and Aron Jones...i have gone to 4 different community agencies looking for help (everyone told us that we couldn't be helped and that we've done everything we could do to cut our cost)...i aslo have gone to Legal Aid...who told me that they could not help me if i was not in foreclousre..What A BUMMER!  & THEY TOLD ME TO FILE BANCKRUPTCY...so @ the end of summer 2009, my dad (with some legal background) got on the phone and RIPPEd 'EM a new ONE!  finally we got a chick named Krisite who put us on this 3month modification...

We were told that after this time, they would reevaluate our account and reconstruct the loan...NOPE, NOPE,NOPE!..yet again, they LIED!...so at my wits End, we solicited the help of one of the agencies that say they would fight on our behalf for a fee...What a mistake! these IDIOTS...didn't do anything that i hadn't already done...i had stop paying my mortgage to affrod the payment with these people...they said they had underwriters and lawyers on their team that could ensure this modification! They Lied!...

Finally, i get a hold of a non-profit Gov agency..LIFE-SPan...and we get this other lady form Home lOan services...who says she is in the "making home-affordable dept" and its only 6 of them (JULIE OR JUDY JACOBS)!...she sends me yet another application to fill out AND TO MY SURPRISE..THIS APPLICATION ACTUALLY SAYS "MAKING HOME AFFORDABLE" across the top...so now, i'm thinking, "HOW in the heck did i get turned down for an application i never put in!"  all the other ones were really generic and said "home modification" acroos the top...anyway i sent all this crap in...she tells me she can process it and send it on...Aron..#2negotiator, calls us and says...we've sent all your info over, give us 72Hr...well @ 48hr we called and they said they didn't have an answer...72hr later can't get in contact with Aron and the customer service rep says we were denied 3dys prior to our last call! 

Lifespan lady states that Homeloan Sevices wants me to fill out yet another Home modification pkg (of course, I will not)..and we still haven't heard from Aron...he will not take our calls...so we asked to speak to a supervisor and LO & BEHOLD THE SUPERVISOR IS juile/judy jacobs!...what a crock..its been two weeks since this last screw up and no one will take our calls...they haven't called us and told us that we were denied ...we had to hear it 3rd party!

so a friend gave us the info for the Bethesda project....call 601-583-4387...see if they can help...i thought about gettin a lawyer, but they all want $200 or better just to hear my story!....no thanks!...
