I purchased my house on June 6, 2014 located at (((REDACTED))) St. Louis, MO (((REDACTED))). My original mortgage company was Stonegate Mortgage Company in Indiana. My rate is very high at 4.5%. I enrolled in their auto payment program and never missed one payment since the day purchased. In Oct 2015 I filed bankruptcy and then was discharged in May 27 2017. Home Point Financial bought Stonegate Mortgage in 2017. My nightmare started. First in July Home Point Financial canceled my auto payment without noticing me. If I didn't find out early enough, I would missed that month payment. Then Home Point Financial blocked me from paying my monthly fee online because they said my account is a bankruptcy account. I told them I was already discharged from Bankruptcy and sent them the court document . But they ignore it. Whenever I called to pay, they charged me $10 fee.

I decide to end this loan. On Nov 17 2017 I requested a payoff statement via their website. By Nov 27 2017 I did not get a single response from them. I called the collection department on Nove 27 and requested a payoff statement via email and mail. Another two weeks past, I still have not heard a word from them. I have not seen any company with this kind of customer service. On December 8 2017 I sent them a Notice of Error (by priority mail with tracking) with a hard copy of court document of my Dischage notice. I also demanded a payoff letter immediately.

Today is December 22 2017 two weeks past agian. I still have not received a single response from them. I kept calling them at least 10 times. Every time I called, my call had to transfer 2-3 times to different persons because my account is a bankruptcy account, they said. And every time they lied to me and said they would send me an email tomorrow. But I never received one.   I belive this company is not a trasparent company. They do not provide me a payoff statment intensionally because my mortgate rate is high. What really pist me off is I deserve a response even they rejected my request. I want to know why???
