Hired Ricardo Zamorano to build out a basement for our nanny, we had twins due in two months.  Signed a contract December 2, 2014 for a job that was supposed to take what we were told was a week. Gave a cash deposit of $5,000 then another $2,500 by check because he said he was halfway though the job and needed more money.  So now $7,500 in the hole this guy never shows up for work and give excuses that he is sick and in the hospital like every other day, or his truck breaks down, or it's snowing out, or he does not work on the weekends, bla bla bla, its now been over 3 months and this job is not even 50% done, our twins where born and we have to stay at a realities home because the nanny can't stay with us.  

He lies every time I call him and says next Monday and then he never shows up.  You can call him all day and he will not even answer his phone. ALL LIES!!  This man lies so much I think he believes his lies.  Come to find out he never pulled a permit to do the job and he had wiring he was doing himself as well as plumbing work.  All illegal and against the law for him to do.  I have contacted the Better Business Bureau as well as the Attorney General about him.  

On further looking into his business I found out that he was not paying his employees and there were a few credit card companies that he had not paid which have judgments against him.  No wonder he didn't finish the job because he is broke.

I have worked with over 10 different contractors in my time; this guy is the most deceptive of all of them. He is a straight up con artist out to get your money and has no skills or means to be in construction. You have been warned. I will pursue this in court to attempt to get my money back from this scum of the earth as well with all other legal means. His Lic# 13VH07464200
