I should have done more research on this fly-by-night moving subcontractor.  I was given a price by phone but the actual cost was more than $500 more.  Second, my furniture was distressed beyond belief.  Broken leg off a new sofa, a chair that was crushed, a table that was gouged, other items banged up, marred, etc.  I'm not a complainer, and it understand that in moving things can happen.  But this was a new one to me.  My furniture and boxes (which I meticulously packed myself) looked like they had been in the bottom of a very huge pile of other stuff.  Beware!
