I worked for Home Team for Three days. My training was done by no one. I was stuck in a room with no one else for eight hours a day watching old VHS tapes on Pest control. -- at one point I was watching a man read the label of ingredients off of a bottle of roundup. To say it was mind numbing was an understatement.

I was "being" trained so that I could pass state licensing to do sales. I shudder to think how anyone who would be a pest control technician could do an adequate or safe job in anyones home after this inferior training.

In addition, the pay and hours were horrible. I believe someone could get a better hourly and more flexible hours working at Taco Bell.

After the third day of watching tapes and have absolutely no human interaction, I decided I could do much better than this.

Even though I am currently unemployed, I am okay. I would rather hold out for a company that cares enough to train me to be successful.

If you get an offer from this company, be prepared for three weeks of solitary confinement... oh yeah training.. at nine dollars an hour.
