We bought our home in Tara Woods on November 14, 2014.

The sales person did not want to show us the house. We got the list of houses for sale from De Tura a mile down highway 41. We got the list of houses for sale from DEL TURA. It was a nistake according to the sales girl. The house on Steamboat was listed for $27,500.00. When I finally convinced the sales person that I wanted to see the lowest price on the list I expected it to be in rundown condition. The house was perfect. When we got back to the main office I offered to buy the house for $5,000.00 less. It was excepted immediately. My wife and I who are in our mid eighties wrote out a check and drove to our new home. We could not belive  that this beautiful location and home was ours.

We went back up North to our home in March of 2015. on April 5, 2015 we received a phone call from Tara Woods asking if we were paying our rent for April. I thought that was unusual. We never missed a payment which was close to $800/month. When we returned back to our house in TW 2824 Steamboat Loop I found that a 3 trunk palm tree that I had someone plant which cost me $160.00 now had 2 trunks. The kitchen diswasher did not work, someone had cut the casket out from the top of the water tank which caused the toilet to leak when it was flushed, also the AC master breaker was in the off position. I called the park but no one came to look.

When we paid our lot rent in November it was returned to us by cetified mail. In December, I put the November and December check in the mail to TW"s and both checks were returned by certified mail.

The next thing a process server came to our house at 6pm at night and we were also served papers by Tara Woods lawyer asking the Judge to evect us for not paying our rent.

We left TR with all our stuff December 7, 2016. We thought it was  best to leave. We went to our broker to sign papers for them to sell our house. When she asked us for the title we told her we did not have one, she said she could not sell the house without a title. We arrived back in Erie on December 11, 2016.

In early January we received eviction papers based on us not paying our rent. We now knew that Tara Woods did not have the title either. In late January we received the title from Tara Woods lawyer by overnight mail. We sent the title to our broker. Our broker was not allowed to put up the for sale sign on our house.

We also receved papers that our funiture was being sold at auction.

My wife and I have been taken by what we think is a mafia type operation. We left Tara Woods which we loved never to return to Southwest Florida.
