This guy goes by the name Nino.  He is based out of Glen View Il.  He is a Operator that runs Craigslist ads here in Florida.  I answered his ad for Driver, he told me how wonderful his equipment was etc etc.  He runs Outlaw, no QC, paper logs, cell phone dispatch.  His equipemt is crap, to be pioloite.  He has a 2007 Century that looks like a herd of cattle had lived in it.  It has over 900,000 miles on it and is a piece of crap.  I went to take the truck for a test ride and didnt  get 3000 feet for where it had been sitting in the shop.  I called him and told him he needed to get a wrecker to get it out of the road.  Instead he sends some guy out in a small pcik up truck.  I told the guy what was wrong, and left.  i texted hime told Thanks but No thanks, what happened next is a total nightmare.

He starts texting me telling me he will have me Black listed for Abandoning his truck, he will have every Big Company no Hire me and turn my CDL inot Florida.

He is on the DOT S*** List here is his number 2530526 look him up!

Dont go with him!  His true colors came out when he relaized I was not some dumb driver.  He will try and get you to pay a 1000.00 escrow and all these crazy fines he has listed.

Stay Away or You will be so far bent over!!  I have already notified the FMCSA and the DOT and will be notifying all the other trucking entiies.  I have also notified DAC of his impending lires.

I have pictures and texts to back up what I am saying.

The Real Story

AUTHOR: Notch - (USA)

POSTED: Thursday, February 11, 2016

Interesting how this so called professional driver calls themselves a professional and clearly by reading the bashing they wrote in this article most real drivers know the difference. Let's start by saying the truck being described in this article had 900k miles on it, yes the truck had 900k miles on it, however this individual fails to add the engine was overhauled and had less then 100k miles on it, clutch replaced with new, as well as flywheel resurfaced, new king pins, new tie rods, new steer tires, alignment, and brand new driver seat was installed the day before for her comfort as well as a brand new mattress...yes HER comfort. (500.00 seat). Also this driver notes that the truck was filthy inside...truck was detailed and cleaned also a day before driver was to pick up the truck. Driver had complained of cigarette smell and offered to get it bombed and i agreed to pay for the service when the driver took it to a facility that woud do it and or we pay for the product and she do it herself, Driver agreed. Most truck drivers smoke and we have no restrictions to smoking. That being said about the truck, mind you truck is on the road running strong as ever and current driver has no complaints. Moving on with the real truth of the matter, The driver wanted to pickup the truck on sunday to take it to her home and put all her stuff in it to be ready for a load on monday, she said she would have her girlfriend-Fiance-wife drive her there and it was about a hour drive. we agreed. She shows up late sunday afternoon to pick up the truck. When she arrived she fired it up, pulled out of the shop parking lot where we pay monthly to park our equipment, and at the stop light she begins hearing a major airleak, truck brakes lockup and could not move. she called and i called the owner of the shop who called one of his employees to come out and check the problem. Shop employee shows up and calls to tell me there was nobody in the truck or anywhere near the truck. I called the driver and asked what was going on and i qoute she says " Its just not going to workout, my fiance picked me up im going back home." Yes i texted her and said thats not right to just leave the truck abandoned in the intersection and yes i said i would report her. The mechanic found the air dryer popped a leak causing the brakes to lock up. problem was fixed monday morning.

I would also like to add...this driver complains in her article about paper logs, and phone dispatch.

If this driver even had a clue about truck driving they would know The real truck drivers prefer paper logs over E logs,

cause they know there is no way in hell you can make money using E logs.

Phone dispatch...as we all know most of us smaller companies use smart phones to snap a picture of the rate confirmation and driver instructions and send it to the drivers cell phone. Most drivers prefer it that way since its quick and easy.

Its drivers like this that destroy good honest companies and theres many of them out there beating the equipment into the ground, not inspecting the equipment properly and making the compant aware of any problems while out there on the road. I can only imagine what she would of done if she was on a load out there some where??? would she dump the truck and find the nearest bus station or airport??? who knows and im glad she left! we have had drivers hold loads hostage, get fuel advances on loads and pocket the money, crash the truck and disappear, or hit someone and quit, and two weeks later have a claim come to insurance. List goes on and on and im sure you guys hear the war stories out there. Im a driver myself and have been one for a very long time. A good company can tank and have bad dot scores and all it takes is for one or two drivers to crash your truck, screw up logs, and not stay on top of the equipment checking it. we can only do so much, we are not out there sitting next to the driver, The driver needs to be our eyes and ears!!!

Some of you may disagree with what i wrote and some may agree, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, i just thought i would write the truth.

Thanks for taking the time to read this, stay safe out there.
