Scam Alert! Honk For Help honkforhelp.com are Frauds, Scams, and Cons Company.

Honk for help is one big scam and rip off that take advantage on people who are broke down on the side of the road, they call to the actual, shop for you to repair the vehicle for you and charge you anywhere from $49.00 up to $300.00 for doing nothing this fast growing company is a real scam this is not Uber's, Uber are actually a great service / ideas, and great solution for our times,  style company this guys are aggressive scam company after the average guy money, try to call them for semi truck repair, they are not even a shop or mechanics they guy answer the phone in honk for help tell me it's $250.00 each hour with minimum of 2 hours $500.00 where the actual national average for truck repair per hour is $125.00 per hour with professional  diesel repair shop,

for jump-start a car they charge you $49.00 just to make phone call to actual car repair vendor, they have nothing to show for with this new app they develop, the people beyond those guys are pure evil and criminals. this app not able even to show you the closer shop and to contact them directly without pay any fees you can simply do the same without pay by jut calling 3 companies and compare the prices use Google maps, Bing maps, Yahoo maps or even yellow pages directly from your cellphone mark my word this is the biggest scam in the roadside assistance history and it's under the watching ayes of the silicon valley and Federal government who approve the licensed to operate in the USA. why would you pay to any one to make phone call for you ? when your smart phone can actually do it for you by simply search the same way you can found www.honkforhelp.com. first on the search results because the pay high pay per click with money from investors and from the money the scam from everyday hard working people.  your phone is smart enough to do the search for you on the push of a button, search city and state the type of repair and help you need and click search that how simple it is avoid those ridiculous frees.

Honk For help or Honk Technologies are pure Scam company, this why you need to use good companies with great records and actual repair shops and not a stupid app that beyond it the are greedy predator personnel's. please be advice not to use this company Honk for Help "unless you are a complete sucker or idiot ".

Actually, they ARE a big scam.

I'm having trouble telling if you're ignorant or an employee with HONK. I'm leaning toward the latter. The fact is that they not only scam consumers, but also service providers. If you really think that downloading an app and pre-paying when you need roadside assistance is better than calling a tow company directly, then you are too far gone to help. Who do you think HONK is paying? They don't have a fleet. They pay the tow providers for their service. So, if you think that you're saving money by using HONK, then you have a lot to learn about how business works. It may be true that some tow companies charge a lot, but they are private entities and can charge whatever they want. The truth is that your average joe doesn't realize what it costs to move a car. There is no such thing as a $40 tow. Anyone who will move your car, even a half a mile, for $40 either won't take care of it or won't show up at all. Tow trucks are work horses that require tons of maintenance and lots of fuel. Most especially when your Nissan Murano is attached to it. Don't be ridiculous. To become a HONK partner, you have to allow them to run a background check that they claim is free. However, this is done through a third party that requires a credit card despite them saying "we won't charge it." I wonder why they need it?

Additionally, their dispatchers are all ESLs (English second language) and came to this country on a floating door. They're so socially inept, that they have to use scripting for standard "small talk." The supervisors and managers are a bunch of frat boys that are so passive-aggressive that they won't even speak on the phone with anyone. They insist on using text chat to communicate, because they are cowards. They're so used to their little safe space on campus that they can't even interact on the phone. You may think this is the "wave of the future", but the fact is that they are just parasites on the rump of the towing industry. Yes, motor clubs like Agero and Allstate are terrible, but HONK does the exact same thing. What you would pay to a towing company is less than an intermediary could possibly charge you and still make a profit. You're paying them to call tow companies for you. I would never rely on my insurance to send a truck or download some stupid app. Whenever I needed roadside, prior to being in the industry, I would simply take out my phone and search for tow companies in my area. I would then make my decision based on reviews and the like. A cheap tow is not a good tow, nor is it fast. If you care about your vehicle and your time, go directly to the source of the service needed. Your insurance company may tell you that you get x number of free roadside, but have you ever looked at your premiums after collecting on that promise?

If I wanted to buy tires, would I pay a company that doesn't sell tires to find me a company that sells tires? Of course not. If you're not prepared to fork over 60-100 dollars to get your vehicle moved safely, then you have no business on the road. If your $40,000 vehicle isn't worth a quick c-note, then get a bicycle. Tow pricing is typically based on facets like type of vehicle, location, condition of vehicle, and distance of movement. Most towing companies are just blue collar guys trying to make a living. It is not a "let's squeeze them for everything we can" situation. They rely on repeat business and putting the squeeze on someone will only ensure they won't be back. Really think about it and do a little research. Price shop. I think you'll find many of your local tow companies have similar pricing. That is not due to some false market value like in apartment renting, but rather because the cost calculation calls for said pricing in order to be profitable. Back to HONK. They are changing the face of roadside assistance, but not in a good way. How would they stay in business if they weren't turning a profit? How would they turn a profit charging you less than they have to pay a provider? Simple. They can't.

If you are using HONK, you are paying significantly more. If you use HONK or your insurance, you're going to wait a long time. The reason for this is that they will leave you on the side of the road for hours while they shop around for the best rate. The "best rate" is one that benefits them the most. The less they pay the provider, the more they make. Fast forward 2-5 hours and you're still on the side of the road. Then, a tow truck shows up and they were only dispatched 45 minutes prior. The insurance company is perfectly fine with lying to you and saying that it is the tow provider's fault when in fact they left you there to save money. If you call a tow company directly, they will give you a real ETA that they will strive to keep. They want your business. There are no guarantees in the towing world as there are far too many variables. One thing remains constant though. No tow company will ever rush right out to an insurance call because the insurance company is paying them pennies on the dollar of what the service is actually worth. If average consumers had working brains, they would boycott HONK and all other roadside assistance programs through their insurance. Call your own tow truck. There are plenty of companies to choose from. Time to wake up.

Honk is "NOT" a ripoff

AUTHOR: Joy65 - (USA)

Honk is NOT a RIPOFF!!

Honk is not a motor club where you are charged a monthly fee rate, that most of the time you do not have to use services. Honk is used on an emergency basis, it is a convenient way if you are stuck out on the road, at home or anywhere else, where you can quckly install the application to get assistance quckly for whatever service you need. Honk asks for a payment up front so that you know exactly what you are being charged. Service Providers that are not honest can charge any amount that they choose and the consumer is in a spot where they will pay the servicve provider because they are in a vulnerable state being that they are broken down and need immediate asssitance. Honk does NOT overcharge, they charge a comaparable fee, if not less than other companes.

So, this report is not accurate. I recommend Honk 100% Do not get ripped off by motor clubs, Do not get ripped off by tow truck companies that can take advantage of you when you are broken down on the side of the road and are in need of immediate assistance.
