A 14 day "trial" supply of Hoodia was ordered on 1-23-06. After receipt it was used less than a week because of the onset of an irregular heart beat.

Novapointe LLC was called on 2-6-06 and they would not answer their phone but on the same day shipped 2 more bottles and charged us $99.90. Over the next several days multiple attempts were made to reach them, but phone calls were left unanswered or messages on answering machines were ignored as were several e-mails.

According to terms eventually found on their web site, a written cancellation was mailed to them and the unopened product returned to them via certified mail on 2-16-06. There is still no response nor refund one month later.

HOWEVER, on 3-14-06 there is a new charge on our card of 28.97 from eCurves, a completely unheard of company based in Utah for a club membership. A check with RipOffReport reveals other victims were automatically enrolled in eCurves with their "trial" Hoodia purchase without warning nor notification. This occured to us well past the Hoodia cancellation date.

There may be several other schemes involving these companies with other products and retailers, so if you have been "caught" by them be very cautious about unauthorized charges on you accounts.
