hotmoviesale.com--has two membership programs that are hidden in the fine print
of in some of their movie buying deals.  They each will bill you a membership fee of
10.00 or so a month and it is very hard to know they are doing this if you are buying
movies from them on a simi regular basis.  The deal is ludicrous on the surface because
in order to justify the 20.00 a month member ship fee you would have to be buying
hundreds of videos and even then you probably could get them cheaper from another
source on the web.  In my case it took a year to find out what was going on.  Not untill
i left my credit card at home and was gone for two months did it become obvious that
something shady and fraudulent was going on.  I contacted my bank they got them on
the line of course the memberships will be canceled and latest billing refunded but I am not
sure as to whether they will refund any of the other 200 dollars or so they bilked out of me
for basically a service i did not even use nor aware of it's existence.  This type of high tech customer manipulation verging on fraud if not fraud is rampent now and needs to be addressed.

Also, the membership sign up is not automatic, and you have to agree to the Terms of Offer of membership on the checkout page to join the membership. The Terms of Offer are very clear on the checkout page and you have to agree to them in order to place the order and join the membership.

If you join the membership then you are entitled to many membership benefits like special $5.00 discounted price for first item, free shipping for first item and wholesale prices for all ordered items. If you had not joined the membership then these benefits would not have been applied to you.
