Hotwire It is owned by Expedia No refund/Credit in this pandemic...

Upon learning that the businesses In Tennesseee were closing and being told by the governor of Colorado that the citizens were to stay at home unless necessary, I cancelled my flight and tried to cancel my car rental.

I called Hotwire on 03/29/20 @6:21 and talked to Kesha who said that she coudn't refund or credit my account. I had asked for a credit, because I knew I needed to go to Tennessee when everything settled down. I asked if I could talk to her supervisor to which she responded that it would do me no good they were sticking to their policy.

On 03/31/2020, I tried again. I can afford to lose $301.30. I called at 8:19pm and talked to Jerry who told me to call Alamo, which I did and talked to Johnnie. He told me that I had to call Hotwire because they had no funds to credit me. I called Hotwire back at 8:48pm and talked to Robert who said I would not get anything...no credit/refund.

Today 04-01/2020 I was online messaging @1:11pm with Robert who told me they were sticking with their policies.

So, In this national/international pandemic the "little guy" gets to bite the bullet for businesses who want to stick to their policies but not want to help their clients/customers?
