HRS - Levitz - Late Fee Rip Off

HRS called me tonight to complain that I have not paid them in two months and I have to pay them with a check by phone tonight or else.

I have the bank statements where my checks to HRS Levitz cleared the bank.

I paid one of the payments 17 days EARLY and they are telling us they posted it to the month before as it was sent EARLY and thus they claim we did not send a payment for that month and owe them a late fee.

Now on top of it they say this past month's payment has not arrived and I owe TWO MONTHS and two months of late fees also. I have the bank statement in front of me showing me the checks cleared already.

My husband is on the phone with them now and they are still denying they received payment.

They are scam artists who should be shut down immediately and their thieves put in jail.

They claim not to know their own headquarter's phone number or address. The representative would not identify herself by even a first name or number. No one can be such an idiot, not even them. They are obviously thieving scam artists.

Where can I go for help? Can I bring charges against them?
