Do not buy furniture from Darvin Furniture in Orland Park, Illinois. Their furniture is of extremely inferior quality and their customer service SUCKS.

I purchased a couch and love seat from Darvin and the salesman was fully aware that I was going to be moving shortly. He proceeded to still sell me a stain guard package that I paid $80.00 for and he told me that even if I spilled paint or nail polish on it and they couldn't get it up, they would bring me a brand new couch and/or love seat.

When there was a stain on my couch, I called Darvin Furniture and spoke with an extremely rude witch(with a b) who very rudely told me too bad I was out of luck because I had moved and that voided the stain guard warranty.

The couch is of extremely inferior quality, it has holes worn in it where the cushion meets the frame of the couch and also on the front part of the arm on the love seat, where no one ever sits.

Also, Darvin Furniture uses HSBC Retail Services as there finance company. HSBC Retail Services currently has, get out your adding machines folks, 8,836 complaints filed against them through the Better Business Bureau. Not to mention the over 200 reports about them on this website alone. They change the due date of your payment, add late charges etc. and there's just no way to fight these b@$t@rd$. Word to the wise, hundreds of companies use these SOBs as there finance company.

So, PLEASE before you buy anything on credit, save yourself some headache and heartache and ask who they use for their finance company. If they tell you HSBC Retail Services, RUN, don't walk to the door. But before you do, please tell them exactly why you refuse to deal with that company, so we can put them out of business. 9,000 people can't all be wrong.

i purchase furniture from room store a year ago no interst/payment for two years thanks to this website i didn't know i was supposed to ask who they use to make my store short i started to get a bill for almost 9 month 0.00 pmt before i know it my balance was $1945 when i first purchase my total was $1400 but wait that is not included my monthly financial charge $34.99 and $39.00 late fee (any attempt i try to make pmt on their website does not make me to to ontime )EVERYTIME i called the customer service number i am somewhere in India or some where in other country with people who does not understand no credit/pmt nor enough English to communicate i had enough of this so i contacted the home office for roomstore in dallas the respond "ohh sorry we cant do anything now you have to deal with hsbc that is the credit provider we just sold u the item " now i try to make the payment sameday i get the bill in the mail (online banking) i found easy to deal with them i recommend to all not to use HSBC unless u have extra time to spend one the phone or on bed been sick with them I JUST CANT BELIVE WE ARE IN THE USA AND THEY PEOPLE STILL IN BUSSINESS GOODNESS !!!!!!!!!
