I HEART THIS BAR - Adam Shyrock No pay, but I still have HIS money California

 I work(ed) for a company called I HEART THIS BAR. I've been working promotions for almost two years and I have never had issues like I've had with this company. 

The hiring manager i had was great, she was so sweet and nice. However, she quit after the second home game we worked a few weeks ago and it wasn't until today that I found out it was because of this guys' shady past and his way of handeling "business". Besides that, the money the 4 of us girls made off of selling his merchandise is still sitting on my kitchen table because I was never told what to do with it. I've emailed him, I've messaged him through the Facebook page, everything and have gotten nothing. I even emailed him the recap for the last game we worked and didn't recieve anything. Between me and the other 3 girls he owes us $600 in pay. One girl quit her part time job because she was hired with this company and now she's not even getting paid.

Now I'm finding out all this stuff today about these other businesses he's had and the lawsuits and all that. Part of I HEART THIS BARS pitch is telling people we are trying to raise money for scholarships, one $15,000 scholarship for a girl on tour, and 4 $7,500 scholarships, one in each conference for a team at individual schools. I'm wondering if that's a big scam and if those girls will ever even see that money. 

Very disappointed that at first this was made to look like a reputable company, just a little unorganized, but really it's a giant mess and scandal for the most part. I feel like I lied to people and like I was part of this because I took peoples' money that felt like it was going to a good cause.
