I S Trading ripoff Nearly! haven't sent the 25 they asked for! London

I received a letter from I.S.Trading (I can email a copy if you like) this morning. It said that I could stuff envelopes and be paid 1.10 per envelope. They also offered 6.00 - 8.00 per page for typing. They even said they would pay 6.00 extra to cover the cost of ink if I had a PC.
It sounded too good to be true so I trawled the net looking at credit check sites and the Companies House site but could not find any mention of I.S.Trading. I even tried putting ing the Business name Registration Number they quoted but still could not find anything about them.
I then used a program that accessed many Search Engines at once and came upon Rip Off Report. Thank goodness!!
With the letter decribed above there was another one addressed to Businiessmen and Entrepreneurs that mentioned another company called Top-Star Mailshare. This letter gave phone and fax numbers (Phone: 020 8888 3549 - Fax: 020 8889 5759). Similar to the one quoted by one of the reports.
I guess it just shows that anything that seems too good to be true is too good to be true.

I have seen an advertisement from the company
and so I have responeded to that by sending
text messeage or phone I can't remember I got a
response the next day and with out thinking
twice about the circumtances I have sent them
the 25 pound fee they requested and waiting for
my membership card.
Am I getting Ripped off?
if yes this is a very crul company and has to be
stopped!!

This web site is incredibly handy as it's prevented me from getting ripped off. I have also replied to another company called 'Delta Data Services', which from what I can gather is the same company trading under a different name. I have yet to recieve a response from them, but I would imagine it again, will be too good to be true.
