Ibotta Ripped out of my earnings with no valid reason Denver Colorado

 I was a loyal Ibotta user and made an incorrect brand purchase for a family member back in January 2016. I returned/exchanged the item the same week. On May 23, 2016, in my Ibotta app is said my entire receipt was refunded and that I submitted duplicate/fraudulent receipts. This simply was not true. All consumers will throw away receipts once a month or so has passed. The returned items included perishable items like eggs, milk, and frozen cookies...simply not something anyone would return, let alone 3-4 months later. I'd reached out and advised there was a mistake and I don't have the receipt any longer but a bank statement with the transaction. The company said if I could locate it they'd refund but also know its violation of terms. Reversing the credit of $3 should have been enough, they reversed my entire receipt of $20 in rebates! I said fine, although this is an error, I'd like to make sure I'm not penalized. I had $355 in my account at that point. I referred two additional people and submitted rebates since I reached out to the company, including today, taking my earnings to $380+. I received a response saying they deactivated my account and no matter how unfair that is their decision. This is improper business practice and seems to be a scam. I am also filing a compliant with the Attorney General.
