IC3D Interactive Custom Clothing Avoid this company! Totally Incompetent! New York New York

In all fairness, IC3D used to be a good company. Several years ago they custom made a pair of jeans to my measurements within the promised time and with good quality. Based on my prior experience I ordered a "copy cat" pair of jeans and sent IC3D my favorite jeans to copy. This last experience was totally awful.

It looks like they have accepted more work than they can handle and are not organized sufficiently. They get irretrievably behind on deliveries and aren't honest enough to tell customers the truth about slipping delivery dates. IC3D stops answering emails and phones and frustrates customers' inquiries at every turn. They do charge credit cards promptly - but they don't do anything else promptly!

My copy cat order took almost nine months to complete. My sample jeans were returned within a few weeks with a promise of delivery on the "copy cat" within 6-8 weeks or so. Three months later I received IC3D's version of a "copy". The jeans were sized for a child. Not only were the measurements made wrong but the jeans were undersized from even their measurements. These jeans wouldn't even fit my 10 year old daughter.

I managed to get through by phone (the only time they answered) to complain and they agreed to remake the order if I would go to their representative (an alterations department at a dry cleaners about 20 miles away) to be measured. Fortunately, I called the dry cleaners before I drove over there because neither they or their head office had ever heard IC3D. I finally went to a local tailor to get measured.

Almost 5 months later my jeans finally arrived but the waist was cut 2" too small. They couldn't even follow the dimensions provided by a professional tailor. Fortunately, I still had the badly undersized jeans they had sent me he first time, so I was able to have the tailor splice a piece from the undersized jeans into the waist of the new ones. So I was able to salvage the second pair of jeans but it did cost me an additional $30.

I would strongly recommend that no one risk an order with IC3D. They will charge your credit card promptly, but you'll never have any certainty that you will ever hear from IC3D again.
