i worked at this facility. It was one of the most unorthodox offices I have ever worked at. It didn't operate by any work protocol I had ever experienced. They lied just to get the families in there, they said they prescreened and don't except everyone. The only children they don't except is if you can't afford to pay, and/or your child was special needs. One of the employees brings in here to little dogs everyday. The dog bit me overtime i went into the office. The last bite i received needed medical attention, the owner told me if i seek medical attention she would fire me, i did and she did fire me. She refuses to disclose whether the dogs have been properly vaccinated or not, and she is holding back at least 2 weeks pay. She speaks to her employees with screaming and swearing. The office is unsanitary, the dogs never go outside to the bathroom, they just go in the office. It smells like urine. This company claims to be a child's talent firm, so allowing dogs that bite to come into the office everyday is a potential safety hazard. As an employee i was told not to approach anyone that looked poor, such as wearing Old Navy, and to be aware of the parent's jewelry, designer bags and anything that would show some form of having money. I was ashamed of myself for working there for 3 mos. There is no confidentiality in the office, Helen pays employees to go online and write false reviews to counteract any bad reviews written. All the employees hate it there and complain about all the same things i am reporting, but jobs are so hard to find no one wants to quit yet. The owner is the meanest and most foul mouthed woman i have ever met. Her employees are required to work long hours, holidays and come in whenever she calls, but she signs them up as independent contractors, pays no overtime and employees are not allowed to fraternize outside of the office, not even lunch together.
