ID Theft- My ID Support.com- PDLC Support.com- Online Resource Center I had an almost identical experience to E. Robinson. I applied for a payday loan on around 10/21/2008, but was also sure I had declined the membership. When I saw how much interest they were charging for the loan, I also closed out of the application immediately. Internet

When I saw a charge for $31.85 on my checking account on 10/21/2008 to THEFT PROTECT SERVICE, I called the number on the back of the check to see what it was for. I was told by a woman (I have since lost the paper I wrote her name on) that I had signed up for this service when I applied for the loan. I told her I was sure I had declined, so she told me she would cancel the service and gave me a confirmation number and a website to go to (www.ID theft refund center.com) to get my money refunded. I could not get the number to go through on the web site, so I called and was told it would be reviewed and should be refunded within 2 weeks, which it was not. The lady at the original number also told me when she cancelled the service that my account would not be charged any more after that date.
Well, my account was charged $17.93 on 11/03/2008 to PLRC LLC, $17.93 on 12/03/2008 to PLRC LLC, and $17.93 on 01/07/2009 to Online Resource Center. All of these places have the same phone number. The worst part is this is an account that I don't use very often, the only reason I keep it open is I have a check that is direct deposited to that account, and I have bills that total almost the same amount automatically withdrawn every month, so I keep a very low balance. Every withdrawal they have made has caused me to be overdrawn, and I have had a $36 fee for each one. I called again today and spoke to someone named Jeff, told him I've called several times and been told this was cancelled and it hasn't been and I am tired of it. He said there is no record of any calls, that I must have called another company, which I know I did not. He gave me his employee number and told me I could report him if it is not resolved. His name is Jeff, employee ID 2015, so I am hoping this nightmare will be over. I am going to my bank tomorrow to see if I can get any of the charges reversed. I guess my next step will be to close the account and change all of the automatic transactions that come out of it.
