The MicroForce shaver works somewhat ok. Not the best I've ever had. BUT ---

The offer I responded to offered buy a shaver at $19.99 + $6.99 shipping and handling = total of $26.98.

But wait that's not all! If you order now, we'll include this special kit that includes two nail clippers, shoehorn, clothing brush, etc. etc, etc. at NO EXTRA CHARGE; you only pay shipping and handling. Now, from my calculation, that adds another $6.99 to the first $6.99 and $19.99 for a total of $33.97.

What I got was a charge of $26.98 for the first item, and a second charge of $45.28 for the special offer that was advertised for only shipping and handling. The kit also included another shaver!

When I called and explained my confusion, the party I spoke with was less than helpful. I had to explain three times, and almost beg for information about how to get a refund. All she wanted to talk about was, You can keep the kit as our gift to you (some gift - $45.28!!), just return the shaver, and we'll refund you the purchase price of $19.99. No shipping, no handling, no taxes.

AND I'M STILL WAITING FOR MY $19.99 REFUND!!

The way I see it, this scamming outfit made $52.27 off this sucker. Doesn't take too many like me to make these people rich.

DON'T YOU BE CAUGHT TOO!!

MicroForce Shaver is Junk

AUTHOR: MadConsumer - (USA)

POSTED: Thursday, April 29, 2010

I also Just purchased the microforce shaver from there own website.  It only cost $10 and was only supposed to charge a $5.95 shipping charge.  They actually charged me $12.95 more that the shaver it self. On there website no where does it show or say that this shaver uses Triple A batteries.  It says it comes with rechargeable batteries.  Well not mine.  I called there customer support number, and was told only the deluxe model comes with the rechargeable batteries and that model only cost $7.00 more.  So instead I  have to spend a lot more than that on batteries now.

I went ahead and put batteries in, turned it on and it sounded nice.  BUT as far as shaving with it, well i had to check and make sure there were actual blades in there. It shaved maybe 5% of my face.  And I actually used my regular shaver first since I didnt shave for a few days.  This thing is a big piece of crap.  The company makes there money on the shipping charges it charges you. If you say you want to return they say fine, but you will have to pay for the shipping charges yourself. So basically I have to pay over $20 to get a refund of $10 back.  They know exactly what they are doing! Just a bunch of con artist and thieves!  Stay away from this company!!!!
