In November, 2005 I responded to a television advertisement selling the Windstorm vacuum cleaner. I was offered a 'buy one get one free' offer. I was charged for two offers and not just one. I contacted the company about the error and was told that they would adjust my charges and refund my credit card; this was the end of November 2005.

In February 2006, I contacted the company to inquire into the status of my shipment and was told that the items were back ordered and that my order was scheduled to be shipped out in March 2006. In April 2006, I again called the company to inquire into the status of my order. I was again told that the item was back ordered and that my order was to be shipped in May. At that time I told the company to cancel my order and refund my credit card. I was told that this would be done in 3-6 weeks.

In July 2006, I contacted the company about my refund and was told that there was no record of my contacting anyone to cancel the order. I again cancelled the order and was told the exact same information as before, that it would take 3-6 weeks for the refund to be processed. In September 2006, I was unsuccessful in reaching a person whenever I called. The automated answering machine would place me on hold and after two hours would hang up the phone on me. I have now discovered that the website is no longer a working site and cannot reach anyone at the number for customer service. When calling the number I am given the message that my call is not allowed and the letters PUACHI are given and then the phone is hung up.

I contacted my credit card company and was told that I needed to try and work out this issue with the company before they would reverse the charges. Since that time I have had no success in contacting this company. I have recently contacted my credit card company and they tell me that because the charge is so old, they are unable to credit my account immediately. I am again told that I have to work with this company to try and resolve this dispute. Frustration does not even begin to describe what I have been through and continue to go through regarding this issue. This company has cost me $480 and I have nothing to show for my money!!!! All I am looking for is my money refunded and this is such a nightmare that I would hate for anyone else to have to go through this.
