We purchased a microdermabrasion machine from ImageDerm June 5, 2011 at the Orlando Trade Show. There was supposed to be a lifetime warranty on the equipment. The machine was defective in that the suction function did not work properly. There were too many crystals flowing from the nozzle which posed a danger to our clients. We made our complaint to ImageDerm and after unsuccessfully attempting to troubleshoot the problem via telephone they offered to send us another machine. Over a couple weeks, we received two replacements from ImageDerm. Both of those machines were also defective. One of the machines would not even power on when we received it. Another replacement they sent had a motor so loud that it would be impossible to use in our spa and maintain a serene atmosphere.

At this point, we have requested a refund from ImageDerm, but they are refusing to refund our purchase. [continued below]....
..... They are actually trying to charge us to repair the first two machines as if we are responsible for the damage. We have attempted to send the third machine back to ImageDerm at our own expense, but they have refused to accept the delivery. At this point the company will not even communicate with us.


ImageDerm rebutted our charge and lied about the whole case to amex. Please do not believe there rebuttals. They falsify everything they say!

Stay away from them and be cautious. when purchasing the machine they act as sweet as can be, but as soon as the first problem arises they treat you like GARBAGE!!!

This is a FRAUDULENT post NOT made by the customer and it can be proven! The information was copied and pasted from a prior 2011 dispute onto this site out of spite by an inferior competitor with a horrible reputation. Said competitor constantly changes its business name to avoid customers that it has scammed. Imagederm Inc. has an unblemished reputation, manufactures quality products, and will not be affected by this unfounded posting.   

First off, let me be honest and say that YES there was an issue with the merchandize that was sent to the client but it was not Imagederm's fault. After all, it is public information and the dispute can be found on the BBB site. You will see on the BBB we have had 3 complaints since 2007. You will also see 2 of the 3 were also FRAUDULENT. As for the 1 and only TRUE complaint,  a total of 3 units were sent to the client and 2 of the 3 were severely damaged by UPS. It was an unfortunate event, but is rare. There are pictures and documents from UPS which will clarify this 100%. The issue was resolved. The customer is happy and continues to endorse our product to date!

Be SMART and analyze the evidence. You will find the following:

1- The customer's personal or Spa name is not listed. If it were a legitimate complaint, the customer would provide this. 

2- The customer does not live or work in the city that is listed. The competitor has no clue as to where the client lives or works and listed ( Boca Raton FL ) a surrounding city, as to where the unit was purchased to fill in the false blanks.

3- Here's the kicker, if this post was done by the actual customer, it would say it was posted at EASTERN TIME and Not Pacific/ Arizona Time. This would indicate that the customer lives and works in California, Nevada or Arizona. SHE Does NOT. Guess what, our competitor lives and works nearby to us here in Los Angeles Ca.

4- There is no picture of the unit purchased. The competitor again, copied and pasted pics from our site of every unit we make but the one in question. 

 Feel free to call us at 866-462-4334 so we can provide you with the contact information of the ACTUAL customer. She is very happy with the unit and you can hear her endorse the product directly from her. The customer has authorized this. Bottom line, always do your research before buying anything. We strongly suggest to our clients to do this and unfortunately, our competitors don't like this. Imagederm is presently considering its legal options respecting this unfounded and fraudulent posting at this time. We are a very honest company with quality made products and our reputation reflects this.
