By typing USCIS (United States Citizenship and Immigration Services) in Google, the very first site that comes up is Immigrationdirect.com/USCIS.
My wife, a resident alien of the USA and a citizen of the Philippines, has been preparing to apply for U.S. citizenship while I am deployed to Afghanistan. She knew she would have to pay certain fees to initiate the process, and thought she was accessing the actual USCIS website. She completed online forms and submitted credit card information to cover the $150.00 fee to begin processing. It was not until afterwards that she discovered she was not dealing with Immigration Services at all, but a so called "consultant".
This website should not be allowed to include USCIS in their address, as it is misleading if you are not completely attentive.  There is nothing they can provide that a prospective citizen cannot do for themselves by going to the actual government website.

We are very sorry to hear about your negative experience on our website. It is not our intention for visitors of our website to think that it is an official U.S. Government website; in fact, we plainly state on every page of our site that we are not affiliated with the U.S. Government in any way. Additionally we are immigrationdirect.com, not a .gov website.

We pride ourselves on great customer service and normally dont have this type of an issue.  We stand behind our refund policy and in many cases, we give a full refund to users or customers who arent satisfied with our service.

We have built a user-friendly system that guides people through various USCIS application processes, step-by-step and mistake free. Many lawyers charge between $750-$1500 for helping individuals with their U.S. Citizenship application, or even more for other types of applications. We charge significantly less for that application, and we allow users to take advantage of our customer service via email support 24/7 and phone support Monday thru Friday, 9am to 5pm PST.

Call us or email us if you have any issues with our service, we are here to help.

Regards,

Customer Support Team
