We ordered our Motorola Razr V3s October 2005, each with a $200 rebate from Wirefly. Rebate terms said we had to wait 6 months before filing and to send a phone bill dated between these dates. I calendared the date so I wouldn't forget and sent my rebates in within the required timeframe. I sent a phone bill DATED the right dates. This phone bill included calls from the month prior. My rebate was initially rejected because the phone bill was the wrong "date". I responded back to them indicating the phone bill was the right "date" but contained calls from the previous month and wanted to know what they wanted if "dated" was the wrong term. They said "Oh wait - let's look at it again - give us two weeks. A month went by and I recontacted them. They said they were still working on it and give them two weeks. Well, more time went by, and when I checked again found they were reprocessing all the rebates with another company. The voicemail recording on this issue is dated July 7th, and they have not updated it since although two months have gone by. I had made inquiries using their webform with no response. I filed another one today hoping to get an answer and pointing out that everyone says they're scamming us, so we'll see if my rebate will ever show up. I'm out so far $400 and it is taking almost a year so far. I will NEVER do it this way again.

Well, it's been 13 months and still no check. I do have hope, however. The "new" company has updated the site and says both rebates were approved and allow "4-5 weeks" for processing. It's been longer than that and I'm still waiting. I so see that others have finally gotten their checks after a long wait, so I'm hopeful.
