I have to start from the beginning how I got tricked into this deal. It started very innocently with a call from INFINITY WEALTH GROUP LLC, in Tempe, AZ. Ph# 1866-871-8303. (Here also, the same message: busy talking on the phone, leave a message Never to return your call. This was after I closed the deal with Incredible Advertising.

The main part of the business was giving them Phone numbers and addresses from houses with the signs, FOR SALE BY OWNER That seemed reasonable at the time, because there was a brand-new 2 story home across the street, and I saw more and more of those signs appear in the neighborhood, and other places. I was supposed to earn $1000.00 for each home that was accepted by an Investment Company. Then 25% when the property was sold. My cost: $99.00 to enroll.

I had to do my own advertising; they sent me a book with information how to go about doing this. Still no problem. I was willing and capable in doing that.

Then I received a phone call from a Don Johnson, representing The EXTREME GROUP MEDIA. Ph.: 877-564-2445.
They talked me in to buying an advertising package, for $7200.00 and I would not have to do anything. I sent them a check for $2700.00 and the rest was charged.

Before I did this, I called Infinity Wealth, to ask if this was going to be legit. They informed me that they worked together, and I could trust them.

About a week later, I received a call from Incredible Advertising, a Mikel Lauren, 888-217-5010.They were going to give me a domain name, setup the website, show me how to go to the back office to look at my earnings. I told them about Extreme Group Media, and again I was told that this was all right, and that they worked together. They were going to take the $7200.00 from Extreme Media and together with theirs. It was getting a bit confusing after that. And this was when the trouble started.

I waited a month, and nothing happened. Nobody called me about setting up the website, etc. The$2700, I had to give that up for lost. When I called I somehow was lucky enough to get Don Johnson on the phone, and I told him, that I did not want to through with it, and that I wanted my $2700.00 back. He laughed and said: You are not getting that back. We just have to go to plan B. After that $4500.00 was charged to my Chase card, and knew nothing was going to happen, after making many phone calls, I disputed that charge with Chase, and I received the credit back.

The purchased Internet advertising was $2700.00, and they sent me 2 boxes with flyers, and addresses randomly picked out of a telephone book. Sample flyer enclosed. This was not part of our agreement. I guess this was their plan B. If this was so, I would have never agreed to the arrangement.

After I received the 2 boxes, I called them about it, and I was told that this was a mistake. (I paid them for advertising, NOT for me to send those flyers around and have the expense of buying stamps.

I signed the Authorization agreement for advertising on the net. They were supposed to help me setup a web domain the next day, but never followed up on it.
Why should I pay them $ 14,995.00 plus the $2700.00, for them to sent me those addresses and have to do everything else myself?

They simply lied to me. I am retired, and was trying to find a way to earn some extra money, to pay the bills etc. I am Seventy years old, and an easy target for smart Marketing people. I feel I fell in this trap because of their promises. I realized that I was being scammed.

Up till this day, I have still tried to get in touch with them. Their mailbox is always full so I can't leave any messages to call me. How did you get in touch with them? There must be a way.

The promise was that I would earn my investment back in a very short time. But I never received a single penny. Never heard about the addresses I sent them. Nothing.

I also enclose a zerox copy of my conversations with them, I usually write down those types of discussions.

Here are phone numbers that I have tried to call:
Extreme Group Media. (Working together with Incredible Advertising) 877-564-2445. Talked to a John Johnson. He talked me into this originally.

Mikel Lauren: 480-217-4427
Tried another one: 480-491-5437

Incredible Advertising. Talked to Mikel Lairen, who talked me into the expensive contract. I need to give him credit. He talks good. Very good. 888-217-5010. (mailbox always full) Here is where I reached a dead end.

In closing, they might have sent me the flyers in error, I have not received a penny in earnings, and I don't think they held up to their side of the transaction. And I am still disputing the charge. I already lost $2700.00 that they will not send me back. Made the mistake of paying it by check over the phone. in trust. When I asked for it back, Don Johnson laughed and said: We are not paying you back, madam. We just go over to round B. And that was the end of it and the last I heard from them.

So, please you have the power to get my money back.
I put all my trust in you.

EDitor's Suggestions on how to get your money back!

HERE IS WHAT RIP-OFF REPORT SUGGESTS YOU DO:

Go to your bank within 60 days of the charge, or as soon as you know about the charge, don't delay, and tell them that there has been fraudulent activity within your account. Explain that you wish to file a dispute, and demand that they assist you in accordance with Federal Regulation E.

According to the majority of victims interviewed by Rip-off Report, those who immediately called their banks to dispute the charges did not get very far. Many victims got the following responses from their banks: we could not do anything for you or you waited too long; it has been more than 60 days.

If the bank is says that you have waited too long, explain to them how you called their 800 number as soon as the charges were found, and were told by the bank that nothing could be done. Remind the bank that they failed to assist you properly at the 800 #, and instead, provided you with an inadequate explanation of your right to dispute. Tell the bank that it's their fault time has expired, and since they gave you the wrong info to begin with, they will just have to deal with it, take the loss and reverse the charges.

Tell them the truth; this was unauthorized and your account was NOT to be charged! Keep emphasizing how you never authorized anything! Direct them to the hundreds of victims reports that were filed on Rip-off Report.com. And if you're at the bank, walk them over to their computer and make them go to this site! If you are on the phone with them, tell them you will wait while they access this site! Either way, be persistent!

DO NOT TAKE NO FOR AN ANSWER!

Let them know nicely, that you were advised to Report them (the Bank) and this situation to the Banking Commission in your state. Since each state has a different name for the agency/controller over banks, find that name before you call or get to the bank so you can throw it in their face. The more knowledgeable you appear to be, the further you will get.

And just continue to demand the Federal Regulation E form! The bank CAN, MUST and WILL reverse the charge! But, you must be persistent; ask to speak to the supervisor or the area manager for all the branches in the state.

Let the bank personnel know you are meeting with the media later in the day, that you would much rather they do the right thing (as most other banks have) by looking at the complaints and immediately reversing the charge(s) to your account; no matter how long ago it was. Be sure to call the Media if necessary so you are telling the truth.

If you have to, be loud (but nice) in front of other customers. If you are just calling by phone, the above tactics should still work. The bank can easily fax or mail to you the Federal Regulation E dispute form.

CHARGES TO YOUR CREDIT CARD

If the charge was to your credit card (not debit card, check card, or checking account), contact the credit card company as soon as possible to request a dispute form. Consumers usually have a little longer to dispute fraudulent credit card charges (up to 6 months), but it is better to act right away. In this type of situation, credit card disputes are usually successful since fraudulent companies often won't contest the disputed charge. In rare cases, credit card companies will review disputes, but refuse to reverse the charges. If this occurs, complain to a manager and let them know you will be filing a report here.

Remember Don't let them get away with it! Make sure they make the Rip-off Report .. The more Reports filed on a Company or individual, the more likely it is that the authorities, media and attorneys will want to take action.

#2 Consumer Suggestion

Where is reference to 6 months? Usually need to report within 60 days!

AUTHOR: Jeanne - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, February 19, 2009

It was mentioned on this website--below your post "that you have up to 6 months to get a charge-back". I had another purchase dispute and the credit card said that they could not do anything after 60 days. It was a 30 days trial for a book offer. I called back to return it as I didn;t have time to look it over and didn;t think it was what I needed--information I already had. They talked me into keeping it for another month to look it over more carefully. then it was too late to get it off my credit card.

So BEWARE OF EXTENSIONS PAST 60 DAYS.

I found reference to this at http://www.fdic.gov/regulations/examinations/credit_card/ch19.html

"The consumer has 60 days from the day he or she receives the statement to report a dispute to the issuing bank".

If there is a law about 6 months--please let us all know. Thanks

Charges made to my credit card will not reverse the charges, even after I did a rebuttal.

I never received the product, which was supposed to be a website.
