Infusion Financial I don't get it!!! Gilbert Arizona

I received a check in the mail the other day, and I have been trying to call the number listed in the letter for Megan Green. All I have gotten is a voice mail that is full of messages and you cannot leave any. The check looks real and I am so desperate for money, I have thought of taking it to the bank to see if it is indeed a fake or if by the grace of god it is real, but in reading the other reports on this site, it looks as if it is too good to be true and it is fake. Why and what is the purpose? What do they get out of it? Maybe I am stupid, but I just dont understand how some peope think and how they think they can scam innocent people. I even went as far as looking up the bank phone numbers on line to see if they have any idea this company is using their bank name on these checks, but no one every answers the phone. I also pull up Infusion Financial on the internet and it looks like a legit co. But again, big shocker, no one every answers the phone. I guess if anyone can give me any answers on what this is exactly and what it is these scammers get out of it?? I think its pretty lousy of these people preying on others as if they were animals. Someone needs to put a stop to it. Doesn't this constitute as mail fraud?? Once they put this devious material in the mail, it turns into mail fraud, right?? I wish they could pay for what they do. It does not seem fair that they can get away with it.
