I received a letter in the mail that contained a check written out to my husband. It looks very real but I new there is no way it was legit!! Things like this dont happen.

The letter states this is final notice, and gives you a claim number, your ticket serial number, and you lucky winning numbers.

The letter states I am entitles to the sum of $450,000.00 payable by a bank draft, money order or certified check.


Enclosed is a check for $4,975.00 which is deducted from your winnings. This amount is to assist you to pay for the Non Resident Government Service Tax.

I knew there was no possible way this was legit, I had not filled anything out or entered into anything. One other thing that caught my attention was there is no return address. But where did they get my husbands information?

I just want to let people know this is not legit, so no matter what they tell you to do dont do it!
