I ordered a total of 11 ink cartridges on Jule 31, 2010 from InksOutlet.com. The price seemed right and they are not too far away from me so I figured I would at least be able to get some service if the quality was not good. Shipping was a little slow on the cartridges considering they are only 100 miles away from me but they finally did arrive and I was looking forward to trying them out. They have a very wordy 'Guarantee' page on their site that says you can return items within 1 year for any reason if you are not satisfied. (http://www.inksoutlet.com/guarantee.php) So I felt secure.

My printer has four individual color cartridges so when one of my original cartridges emptied I put the first InksOutlet cartridge in. All seemed well. As original cartridges emptied I replaced them all with InksOutlet cartridges. The print quality was not bad. I am a graphic designer so I need good quality.

Then all of a sudden a few weeks after putting the first cartridge in I got an error on my printer saying that a certain cartridge was not being recognized. I went and opened up the printer and it was the first InksOutlet cartridge. I removed it from the printer and it was still plenty full but the printer would not recognize it. So being in a hurry to get the job printed I just replaced it. This has now continued through every InksOutlet cartridge. So now I have a stack of worthless, non-recognizable printer cartridges laying on my shelf that still contain lots of ink!

I have written to InksOutlet to try to get them to make things right on these cartridges. Any sort of attempted contact with them is ignored. So I started doing online research. One thing I learned is that even though they have the great wordy Guarantee on their main site, it does not match up with what their small print terms are.  The big page says "If you are not happy with your order for any reason, simply return it to us within 1-Year from the time you receive it." The small prints says that the cartridges must still be at least 75% full. I bought from them because I thought their prices were good. The prices are not good if I am only getting use out of 25% of the ink. My cartridges seems to be at about 60-70% still full. Just enough not to qualify for their supposed Guarantee. But they won't even respond to me to try to make some sort of deal to replace their worthless product.

I would have been a good customer to them because I use a lot of ink. But I will NEVER buy from them again, nor will I ever recommend them to any of my colleagues. Do your research and do not buy from this company. Their prices are not good when you are only guaranteed to be able to use 25% of the ink. Pay a little more and be able to use 100% of the ink you buy.. [continued below]....
