I live in Scotland UK. I found a Nick Daws writing course at : http://www.writequickly.com/author/menu.aspx
Placed an order for a writing course so very clearly advertised at $ 49.95 free delivery worldwide.
(I know I was dumb...should have known, just looking at their promises it was a scam!!! But I am really stuck with my novel and getting desperate to finish it)
Cost should have been a maximum of 31.97 Pounds Sterling. (four weeks ago it would have been $26!)
(I do concede that if VAT is leviable on this import into the UK, I might be expected to pay an extra 17.5% = 5.59 pounds. If so, I willingly regard the extra as the cost of living in the land of stunning lochs, great beer and Braveheart )
On site, went through regular VISA credit card payment process via an e-commerce handling company called 'SW REG.'
However, when I pressed 'continue' to complete transaction and I printed my hard copy invoice they charged much more...try 55.54 pounds ! ( $ 88.88 today).
What a patently dishonest way of doing business! I am trying to get the transaction reversed, but what a rip-off! Avoid these people!

Since filing my first report I found many other people have been ripped off by this same collection of artists. They operate as various entities , but all with similar outcomes for anyone who bites.

sorry, allowing you to give a competitors name would instigate others to just file against their competition, to only come back later to suggest their company, ..plus, if you post a competitors name more than likely they will show up on search engines as a Rip-off! - - your comments on this policy are welcome.
